IPQ6250S DVB-C Transmodulator provides a best-of-class and high density All-In-One QAM transmodulators for cable TV operators, Hotel/Hospitally TV system in Coax Cable transmission, can be ensured that they will have a scalable, reliable, high performance video stream services for years into the future.
It is used for reception of DVB-S/S2 (8PSK/QPSK/16APSK/32APSK) signals, selection of desired channels and retransmission of them in DVB-C (QAM) format in chosen RF channels. The device allows the user to receive and manage a range of free to air or Biss encrypted satellite channels, can receive channels from eight high speed satellite transponders and convert them into 16 No-adjacent QAM DVB-C multiplexes (with freely selected content), each with maximum throughput of 53 Mbps. In practice, each of the eight multiplexes can carry over Eight Full HD channels. The administrator of the system selects the required channels from the satellite streams and creates 16 DVB-C multiplexes. In each case, it is neceeesary to remember about 10% safety margin when determining the maximum bit rate for the whole multiplex (typically the ultimate bit rate of a multiplex should not exceed 48 Mbps). The output DVB-C QAM multiplexes are usually distributed to users by a passive network composed of RF splitters/Amplifer/Taps.
It can also receive up to 512 SPTS/MPTS TS over UDP/RTP package transport stream input from multiple IP forms and mux all selected ip channels into DVB-C multiplex in qam Modulator with all satellite Channels together.
