Now more and more programs come from satellite, how to receive satellite programs and transfer to cable TV system, here we recommend the following two ways:
Solution 1. For commercial and small applications
The all headend can be built up based on Multi-service qam modulators (Model:QAM6248) with FTA DVB-S2, ASI, IP inputs. This modulator is already integrated with multi-RF and ASI, option IP inputs, and built-in multiplexer and scrambling, each unit support 4 QAM channels output. It is a best choice for more fta channels and the ASI port connection with encoders.
Solution 2. For the operator and more channels subscriber applications
The all headend can be built up based on IP infrastructure. You can take the IP streams from professional IRD, broadcast encoder feed into an IP QAM modulators (Model:IPQ6250). The modulator can support up to 48 QAM channels. It can run 300 channels in 64QAM, if you setting 256 QAM, it can reach more channels capacity. The best advantage is that the QAM board can be feasibly plug in to increase the QAM channels without order new chassis.
